Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer ™ at Center For Puppetry Arts Atlanta

Most of my friends kick off the Christmas Holiday Season on November 1st.  They decorate at least 3 Christmas trees, display all of their shiny and glittery trinkets, wrap everything in garland, and you can smell the scent of pine needles, cookies, and candy canes in the air.

My family, on the other hand, kicks off the season with an Atlanta Holiday Tradition:

For the last 3 years, my family has piled up into the car and driven into the city to witness Rudolph become the most famous reindeer of them all. After the show, we head upstairs to the Create-A-Puppet ™, where we all get to build puppets that are related to the show.

My kids. ok WE, love, love, love, this show! The message of being different and letting what makes you different be your way to shine (literally in Rudolph’s case) is a message that I want to reinforce.  Attending this show is an easy and fun way to do so.
